Scott, you mentioned grants, are they available for businesses
Kathy Bastow
33:18
Scott, are there any communities in skagit, Whatcom and tribes that do not qualify because they've not participated in fed program?
Scott Van Hoff
35:51
All cities in Whatcom county do participate in the NFIP. If you live anywhere in Whatcom county, you can buy a policy from the NFIP
Asche Rider
36:48
To clarify for anyone who isn't familiar, NFIP is the National Flood Insurance Program
Scott Van Hoff
42:48
Thank you Asche for that clarification. Please read your insurance policy carefully. A common private (non-federal) flood insurance policy has the title Natural Catastrophic Insurance Program (NCIP). This is not a FEMA product.
Nicole Postma
44:33
Is this USDA Grant available for the Chamber for the small towns affected by this flood?
Kathy Bastow
